Lutheran north 38 Blair oaks 30 final

One thing is for sure watching this game, Lutheran North hates Blair Oaks. One more thing. This could be the best LN team in several years.

honestly, If LN's offense improves just a little bit which in time it will, I don't see hardly anyone beating them, Hannibal included. They are playing with confidence and motivation. They are nothing like last season. Blair Oaks is giving their all but LN looks to be too much. Plus 2 missed field goals.

I agree, if Luthern north offense improves, very hard to beat.
As Blair oaks fan, Bax getting better also.

I don't see any animosity, just players playing hard, and knowing this is a big game. But I wouldn't go by what's on Twitter either

BO playing tight, LN defense swarmed to the ball. BO O-line needs to remember they don’t have hair’s speed. Less shield blocking.

That damn turnover on BO first drive.
The TO and not finishing drives. Missed 2 field goals and had another blocked. Had a few opportunities to get off the field late in the game and LN QB just made some good plays. Two very good teams.

Not sure what makes you say that. LN and BO players and coaches have had mutual respect for years. Their coaches are nothing but complimentary of BO on Twitter.
Got to look at it like this, LN was 0-3 against BO before tonight. They had this game circled on their schedule for awhile wanting to get payback. They hated losing repeatedly to them. Of course they would have respect in social media but inside that locker room they wanted payback not just for them but for lift for life and Cardinal Ritter. So when I mean hate, i mean that this game was personal.

Sounds like they just wanted to get the monkey off their back and win the game… I think ‘hate’ is a stretch. I don’t think this week 2, regular season game meant that much to either team besides a test of where they are at. Both teams will be just fine regardless of win or loss.

Well after seeing a half dozen posts by both LN players and coaches today, it was definitely personal. Not just for Lutheran North but for all of the STL schools that has competed against BO over the last 6 years.
