Loser of the Debate....

I'll give Trump a slight edge in last night's debate. Biden's stuttering gave the impression he was unsure on his answers, and Trump is a master bullshitter.
I'm still a little surprised (and glad) that Trump hasn't stooped to the low of making fun of the stuttering. But thought that Biden looking at his watch was a worse look for him. He had the look of "is this over yet?" I also thought that Trump won. He was much better than the first debate.
Next question, does "slight edge" mean it was a big edge since the expectations are for him to implode at each debate? "Donald Trump actually won, maybe he is better than portrayed" or does it not move the needle at all?
You missed it. Trump won the debate though it wasn’t huge. Biden literally snarled at one point and looked confused several times.
It is probably secondary to the Bobulinski press conference though.
My opinion that Trump had a slight edge was strictly based on appearance, confidence, and putting Biden on the defense a couple times. I'll leave it to the fact checkers to see how much BS both were selling.
Trump stopped the bleeding, that's all. I realize he has no plans on covid, environment, infrastructure, etc. Biden was just trying to not make any mistakes and get thru the debate. I doubt if either changed any minds.

Trump should jump all over Biden admitting he was going to shut down the oil industry

What is wrong with the Hitler reference? Because Trump is writing love letters to Kim Jong-un doesn't mean that he won't attempt to invade South Korea and put us in a bad place.
We have to get off fossil fuels at some point. It won't last forever. We can kick the ball down the road a little bit but we can't expect to have fossil fuels for our grandkids. He did not say 2022 there would be no gasoline. He said we have to transition away. He screwed up the answer on fracking. They will end it on federal lands not completely.

Joe fumbled on that one. He didn't make it clear that in the not so distant future that gas automobiles will be obsolete. Getting off gas isn't going to happen overnight. We will eventually overcome the obstacles to affordable total electric cars.
