At this point, stick with your teammates, the damage is done. Let them kneel and move on. If you don't like it, turn off the TV or switch the channel. Pro Football players don't amount to hill of beans IMO.

BS,,,,,,,,,,,if it was never about the anthem or the troops why were the ingrates kneeling during the anthem instead of the player introductions.
I agree with reducing crime, but identifying murder by a group plays into the illness that plagues our society. It doesn't help when in reality its up to the individual to stop murdering.BS,,,,,,,,,,,if it was never about the anthem or the troops why were the ingrates kneeling during the anthem instead of the player introductions.
if they actually want to foster positive change they should go to Chicago and talk gang members into putting down their weapons and drug users to stop using and selling weed and heroin. For every 100 young blacks killed about 99 of them are killed by other young blacks and 1 is shot and killed by a cop and 99% of those are shot committing a felony.
Its not racial injustice its blacks committing 4 times the amount of crimes other racial groups do.
In order to fix any problem you first have to identify it. Ignoring the fact that the majority of violent crime in our society is committed by a small segment of the population isn't the way to solve it.I agree with reducing crime, but identifying murder by a group plays into the illness that plagues our society. Who identifies a group that murders each other? Who will decide what should be done? Peaceful individuals don't make situations better by grouping all murderers based on skin color. It makes the situation worse. This is not to say I'm naive. In order to fix any problem you first have to identify it. It's not up to you to decide how people protest. Don't watch it. They don't kneel once the game starts. Or not. The game goes on.A group of people could protest some obvious and universally recognized injustice by spitting on every grave at Arlington and I would still say that spitting on every grave at Arlington is wrong...
A group of people could protest some obvious and universally recognized injustice by looting and setting fire to local businesses in their community and I would still say that looting and setting fire to local businesses in your community is wrong...
Find another way to protest.
It’s not up to me to decide how anybody does anything; it’s just up to me to decide what I believe is right or wrong (BTW, I believe burning the American flag is wrong too; should players be allowed by their employers to do that on the field as well?)It's not up to you to decide how people protest.
Yes, either do I. The NFL is not spitting on graves or burning and looting. It’s not up to me to decide how anybody does anything; it’s just up to me to decide what I believe is right or wrong (BTW, I believe burning the American flag is wrong too; should players be allowed by their employers to do that on the field as well?)
The fact that you added ‘yet’ to the end (and yes, I added the caps) tells me you know that it’s an eventuality given the current path (and I’m sure when it eventually happens, those who are opposed to it will likewise be labeled bigots, just like those who think people should stand for anthem are labeled today). The NFL is not spitting on graves or burning and looting. The NFL is not burning a flag YET.

I honestly don’t know why people (myself included) even bother to stand up for patriotism in today’s America (especially on the internet).
Oh well! America had a good run (it was fun while it lasted)
Some people are bitter and resentful and want to get even. It's easy to recognize this when they become violent. That may be simple, but it's true.who are opposed to it will likewise be labeled bigots, just like those who think people should stand for anthem are labeled today).
