Looks like A-A-Ron disagrees with a lot of y'all

At this point, stick with your teammates, the damage is done. Let them kneel and move on. If you don't like it, turn off the TV or switch the channel. Pro Football players don't amount to hill of beans IMO.

We can survive without pro athletes, hard to make it without military personnel and police officers.

I think this is getting a little old...We all need to stop worrying about what others are doing and just worry more about ourselves and if we are living right.

It was never about social justice...its about identifying the ingrate fools that you know you can't count on. They are the ones doing the kneeling...and now we have them identified. Now I know who doesn't respect those around them or the people that died at Iwo Jima, Gettysburg, Normandy Beach, Korea, Vietnam. Good. I can file them away in the "can't count on them" group.

I think is a level of degrees as well.

I respect the men that stand with a black power glove on. Head down. At least they are respecting something.

Those that kneel, I respect less.

The worst were the ones like Marcus Peters in KC that were oblivious, sitting on their ass, picking their nose. He is an example of a toxic self-absorbed cancer. And because he couldn't tackle for sh*t and being a cancer, he got traded.

BS,,,,,,,,,,,if it was never about the anthem or the troops why were the ingrates kneeling during the anthem instead of the player introductions.

if they actually want to foster positive change they should go to Chicago and talk gang members into putting down their weapons and drug users to stop using and selling weed and heroin. For every 100 young blacks killed about 99 of them are killed by other young blacks and 1 is shot and killed by a cop and 99% of those are shot committing a felony.

Its not racial injustice its blacks committing 4 times the amount of crimes other racial groups do.

They have the right to kneel and the NFL and owners have the right to either let them or punish them. The fans have a right to tune out and stop buying NFL stuff and going to games. I find what they are doing laughable all they did was stir up crap and galvanize much of the fandom against them and their so called cause. Sure the low life talking heads supported their cause but the average joe now looks at them as Low life punks who have no idea about how the world works or who their market is.

I'm pretty much done with professional sports and I really could see the bottom drop out mega money wise as the next generation finds better things to do with their cash. I'm pretty confident that generation Z will stay away in droves and tune out of most Pro sporting events in favor of what ever is streaming on their phones,Ipads etc.. .

I agree with reducing crime, but identifying murder by a group plays into the illness that plagues our society. It doesn't help when in reality its up to the individual to stop murdering.

In order to fix any problem you first have to identify it. Ignoring the fact that the majority of violent crime in our society is committed by a small segment of the population isn't the way to solve it.

Who identifies a group that murders each other? Who will decide what should be done? Peaceful individuals don't make situations better by grouping all murderers based on skin color. It makes the situation worse. This is not to say I'm naive.

A group of people could protest some obvious and universally recognized injustice by spitting on every grave at Arlington and I would still say that spitting on every grave at Arlington is wrong...

A group of people could protest some obvious and universally recognized injustice by looting and setting fire to local businesses in their community and I would still say that looting and setting fire to local businesses in your community is wrong...

Find another way to protest.

It's not up to you to decide how people protest. Don't watch it. They don't kneel once the game starts. Or not. The game goes on.
I wish the protesters would get their own life in order before they go around tearing down the system. I also wish I'd win the megamillions lottery game.

It’s not up to me to decide how anybody does anything; it’s just up to me to decide what I believe is right or wrong (BTW, I believe burning the American flag is wrong too; should players be allowed by their employers to do that on the field as well?)

I will stand proudly every time I hear the anthem with my hand over my heart. But who are we to tell other freedom loving people they have to do the same?

Yes, either do I. The NFL is not spitting on graves or burning and looting.
The NFL is not burning a flag yet. Mostly, the NFL players are pissing some people off. That's it.

The fact that you added ‘yet’ to the end (and yes, I added the caps) tells me you know that it’s an eventuality given the current path (and I’m sure when it eventually happens, those who are opposed to it will likewise be labeled bigots, just like those who think people should stand for anthem are labeled today).

I honestly don’t know why people (myself included) even bother to stand up for patriotism in today’s America (especially on the internet).

Oh well! America had a good run (it was fun while it lasted :D)

Some people are bitter and resentful and want to get even. It's easy to recognize this when they become violent. That may be simple, but it's true.
For me, I choose to pick up my own cross and bear the burden. The alternative could end up destroying everything. This is what people do when they believe that they have nothing to lose. Burn it down, take everyone that gets in your way with their malevolent actions. That is scary.
