Looking for a varsity basketball job, just graduated college this spring and have 5 years of prior coaching experience (2 yrs. high school/ 3 yrs middle school and elementary) at age 22. Does it matter where? I know the Indpendence school district has an opening at one of the schools up here. Check out thier site. Also check out moreap.net

No it really doesn't matter where right now. I cannot be too picky at my age, thanks for the info I will check it out.

I will be student teaching this fall, my hope was to coach somewhere and student teach or teach for free and then I will be certified in the spring semester. I live in Springfield right now, but I graduated in Doniphan MO and played basketball in college at Lindenwood University for a year. I have coached at Twin Rivers High School (Ass.) in varsity boys basketball as well as freshman and assistant at Republic high school for boys basketball. I also coached AAU teams from the time I was in 8th grade until now. I have been an assistant or freshman coach for three years and am ready to move up if I have the right opportunity.
