That was one of the worst officiated games I have seen. Not trying to blame the crew for Webbs poor performance tonight, but that was just obvious what they where doing.
Several very questionable calls (and non-calls) in this game. You could tell it was week 1 for this crew.
I try very hard not to criticize officials on individual calls, it is s tough job. That being said I will criticize poor mechanics. The linesman on the WC side had no clue how to operate and many times what his responsibilities were.
On one critical 4th and 1 the play for harber,was right in front of us. Runner might have made half a yard or nothing. Back judge signals first down before the ball is even spotted. What happened to bringing in the chains and measuring??
Apparently it's OK in Missouri, too. It happened in each of our first two games with no flags.
I've seen a couple times where they've moved the ball and then decided to measure. Also seen them signal first down and been moving the chains then decide to measure after coaches objected to no mesurement.
What a bunch of little girls crying about the refs. Someone purge this thread, these guys are an embarrassment.
