Yes. The lesson in all this is the fact Lincoln Prep played a baby soft slate compared to everyone else in this district except East and got the #1 because they ran the table. Strength of schedule seems to factor very little in whatever formula MSHSAA is using.

I will say this while prep will likely have a second or third rd exit they have a dang good team. I got to see them up close and they can play

Best IL team since the late 1980s in my opinion. Not a team to be taken lightly at all.

Playing at that brand new, nice stadium doesn't hurt either. This is a great point amplifying this 9-0 season..................LP is the KC Chiefs de-facto (they were featured during the Indy-KC Sunday Night game) local HSFB team.

They have the best RB and DE in the district. Plus an excellent coaching staff. they have a punchers chance.
