Liberty 31, Staley 7

I know the Park Hill game was a blood bath BUT never, ever expected this. Liberty now owns wins over Lee's Summit North, Staley and Park Hill but lost (somehow) to Liberty North and Lee's Summit. CRAZY............

Top do you have any info on Liberty's game with LSW? Seems they were giving LSW fits and then supposedly LSW scored 20 points in 30 seconds or something close to that. I never got the whole scoop and maybe it was a just a huge exaggeration.

They were playing catch up from the start but had chances to win it late. I know THIS much (wow using the caps a lot the playoffs must be coming LOL) these Blue Jays are now a team nobody will want to face next week!

You hinted recently that the Liberty schools may be ready to deliver a real challenge for some teams in their district. Well done. You will have to excuse the caps, I knew you touted Smithville early on but I agreed with bhunt95's thoughts (another thread) that this would be a reach for them mentally more than physically, therefore my exclamatory response.

Their shocking collapse vs. PC (in a game I left at half thinking it was over) made me re-think that but am squarely back on board now BUT do think Kearney is more than capable (pays to remember they barely missed a huge offensive and defensive play in the first half that could've changed everything) of fixing the concentration etc. issues and winning a rematch in Smithville. Problem is what stands between them and just getting there.

Class 6 District 4 will be amazing. Rock is probably a favorite but wouldn't count out five of the others at this point.

Was at this game and the teams on the field were actually pretty evenly matched. Any chance Staley was sitting injured kids? Don’t think this was the regular Staley QB. This did not look anything like the team I saw a few weeks ago. Liberty went up 21-7 in 2nd quarter and the second half was not very exciting.

The Staley QB had a pretty serious injury a few weeks back.

That Park Hill game was as violent as it gets at this level, Northland. The Falcons will REALLY benefit from a week off. The starting QB (in their two rotation) was the one knocked out of last week's game and ambulanced off the field. The superstar RB has been dealing with injury most of the season. Not trying to make excuses (Liberty is someone I don't want to see next week but appears Park Hill will) but I have a feeling the Trojans loss at Blue Springs was at least in part due to last week, too.
