I think we all want to stop illegal immigration. That’s nothing new or startling. It’s how to go about it. With the cutting of taxes (oh, yeah - Trump wanted another round of tax cuts just days before the midterms - remember that ploy?), how are we going to pay for a wall (oh, yeah - Trump said Mexico was going to pay for it - remember that ploy?), pay for infrastructure (oh, yeah - remember that ploy?), create a better healthcare plan than ACA (oh, yeah - remember that ploy?), and make us all tired of winning (oh, yeah - remember that ploy?). Promises made, promises kept (oh, yeah - remember that ploy?). One more ploy - remember this one - drain the swamp. Uh-huh.
Lie. They don't want to, its a political weapon against Trump, but just the latest in 50 years of same tactics.

A border without a wall is temporary and ineffective. Walls keep things in, and out.
The only reason they don't want the wall is that they work.

There are multiple people on the right and left that don't want the wall. It is not exclusive.

It's the central issue why he was elected. Trump has hard-on for the wall. He's had two opportunities to do it before. He failed.
Not everyone believed Mexico would pay for the wall, its a non-issue.

I beg to differ. There was a lot of people who believed the tough talk that Mexico would pay for the wall. Also, how can you say the wall is a non-issue? Just 24 hours ago the president said he’s willing and would be proud to shut down the government over its funding.
I don't know what other people think. I can't talk to all of them. I just know some might, some did, some didn't.
How can you say we all want to stop illegal immigration and allow or support sanctuary cities and states who refuse to follow federal laws on immigration and resist ICE?

A wall may reduce illegal immigration, but it has to be paid for.
I do think there is a huge, bigly difference between 1.5 B and 5 B. Feel free to make up the difference yourself if you feel it’s nothing.
What's interesting is none of politician's that make the wall impossible, live among illegal aliens crossing the border. They are above the law of reality. Hence, more and more hypocrisy.

We have a lot of great big fencing up already and we could add to that at a much smaller price then add more agents at the border and other surveillance. They gave Trump over a billion dollars and he hasn't been able to spend it in a year. They offered to give him more for next year but not 5 billion. He keeps claiming more wall is being built all the time when in reality it's fencing that as already there being repaired or replaced.

The last year has been spent building different prototypes. Since they came in under budget, they didn't need all the money. That used to be a good thing. Now that they are ready to proceed, it will cost more than prototypes. A good wall will require less manpower to guard which means.......less cost to operate.
You can ram a wall with a train. A wall won't work. Pole Vaulting Hondurans can breach the wall. Small pregnant women and children destitute and starving can dig a tunnel with a claw hammer.
They don't have shovels, they discarded them while traveling through the arid region of 129 F in the shade.

I see you guys didn't address the part about how many came here in a away that has NOTHING to do with a wall . As far as fence versus a wall, the border patrol would rather have the big fence so they can see what's going on on the other side, not blinded by a big concrete wall.
I said it was false and asked who told you this. Far more people have crossed the border than came on a plane.
Ok since if know how many are here after having crossed the border illegally you probably also know how many have come here over the years and overstayed their visas. I've heard it from multiple sources of media from all sides of the spectrum. Even Fox News used to complain about how many are here with expired visas but that doesn't fit their narrative for the wall now so they don't mention it anymore. I couldn't begin to tell how many of either kind of folks are here and I'm pretty sure NO one can.
