Lexington HS Head Coach Opening

Lexington High School (Class 2, approximately 280 students) is currently accepting applications for Head Football Coach. The position will be tied to Strength and Conditioning/PE. Lexington is coming off a 9-2 season with 12 returning seniors. Applications will be accepted until July 2nd. Interested applicants can apply here or by contacting Kyle Cahill (HS Principal). Still business as usual on Twitter, tweeting ball fits.. if he took another job I would think an announcement of some kind would be coming in short order
 
I was given an unexpected opportunity to fulfill a life goal of mine. An announcement should be made early next week. I appreciate everyone patiently waiting.

Lexington obviously needed to move quickly and couldn’t wait to post the job. I’m helping with the transition best I can.

Everything is in good standing within the district. I am thankful for my time there and everyone who supported me throughout the years.

"Coach Cogan revived Lexington and made them a consistently solid team." Can you please explain that? Wasn't he the head coach for only 2 years with 5-5 and 9-2 seasons? With the exception of Higginsville and Richmond this past season they didn't play anyone good. Coach Barkley was the head coach before him and I believe his worst season was 9-2. Not saying Coach Cogan is not a good coach or person, just don't believe your statement to be accurate.

Perhaps I am confusing Coach Barkley with Coach Coogan as to who "revived" Lexington. Either way, both had success and kept Lexington winning or competing in games.

Glad you know my intelligence level. You must be clairvoyant. Cogan was not run out of town. As to the rest of your statement i will let others be the judge.

And I am NOT some "bad bad"!! Thats probably the bozo from GA, ranting and rambling about Colquitt County. Also that major bozo calvin!
