Some other guys in KC that stand out

Zane Palmer from Odessa had a 2000+ season and 29tds. 8.1 yards per carry. C3

Keep an eye on Ryver Peppers from Fort Osage his junior and senior years. As a sophomore he averaged
7.8 yards per carry and 20 yards per reception in C5 in 8 games. 20 Touchdowns
Joey will appreciate the fact that he is a track stud as well!

If any of these backs are better than Aneyas Williams then they are a lock for the NFL (barring injuries). No offense to Marcus Starks (incredible football player) he is no where near Aneyas Williams level.

Reality is no one knows the answer to this question because no one gets to see all of them up close throughout the year. There are several really good backs in the state that any team would be thrilled to have.

Luke Gall, Ramone Green and Quinton Renfro in SWMO are all very good.

True but not sure they are on the level as the blue chippers. Follow the p5 interest. Its not always a for sure thing as there are some kids who outplay their offers.

Renfro is going to be a beast next season. He is also the back up QB.

16 starters returning has been mentioned. Dline and defensive backfield needs to improve and get some depth. The defense that played RP wasnt the same one early in the season, maybe some injuries could have attributed to that. Didnt know renfro was back up qb...thx.

Do you have anything to support this contention, or just your opinion?
He went to coffeyville cc which was the Nubs feeder school then . He was tearing it up down there before whatever happened, happened. That's a story for others to share.

And keep in mind he was getting his yards against non-class 1 teams (even though class 1 at that time was peppery in the area).
He also rarely carried the ball in 2nd halves during blowouts. Some of the guys mentioned played full games against bad teams (if we're being fair).

So you're jumping from: a) was playing well at Coffeyville Community College to b) was going to start at RB for Nebraska over Derek Brown, Calvin Jones, and Lawrence Phillips. If things wouldn't have happened.
Do you take anything for delusions?

You never saw him play. I've watched MO players for the last 40+ years. That includes a lot of show me bowls and 'big games' among the bigger classes.

Allen was the best.

Alot of time those p5 schools miss out on kids because they are in the wrong area or a small school. Wonder if Zeke Elliot gets an offer from Ohio state if he is an 8 man running back in Northeast Missouri with the same stats.

Pretty sure all of you guys are missing an answer here. A little known fact is this guy snuck in and played a year in MO and dominated.
