Lesterville Wins Perryville Tournament

The Lesterville Lady Bearcats made a huge statement today in the powerful Perryville Tournament. Finishing first in their pool, the Lady Bearcats defeated DeSoto 25-15, 25-17 in the first round of the tournament. The Lady Bearcats then upstaged and upset host and Class 3 state-ranked Perryville 26-24, 25-23, earning them a spot in the championship match against Class 2 St. Pius X of Festus. The Lady Bearcats were crowned champions after posting a 21-25, 25-21, 15-13 victory.
