They should have been 1 or 2 all year. It is inconceivable that they weren't even considered week 1. Strafford wins a tourney and falls out...beating Hollister and Rolla.
Diamond loses to Marionville and stays in...
Steelville beats a top 10 class 5 team by 30 and isnt ranked. They also have a win over richland without their PG.
The system is flawed and embarrassing.

And don't forget Licking, beating Class 3 #4 without their coach, and leading scorer, then playing right with Class 4 #4 and Class 5 #10, having single digit games with both, still without afformentioned leading scorer...I think some people forget how close the wildcats were to a state championship last year!

I agree Licking should be getting some love but I am pretty sure their leading scorer played after the Sparta game.

Yup i generally ignore them and pay vs attention to max preps. Even if they are bit incomplete they still appear more accurate

El Do is good though. They would beat Licking and would be a toss up with Steelville IMO. They are very lanky. 4 starters over 5”10.

Strafford has had growing pains this season. People tend to forget that they returned only 1 player with any significant Varsity minutes and bring 2 freshman off the bench. The talent is there but the consistency isnt quite where it needs to be yet.
Eldo couldnt miss last night and Compton fouled out early in the 4th

I dunno if its that people forgot that or even didnt know, i think its more people got tired of hearing bout strafford and having pounded in their heads(dont get me wrong there were good) by the likes of ozone to the point that now they want to see them get hammered

yep- and like 14-18 year old girls have any control over that and this group especially, is completely new! True competitors and people who love the game should have a genuine respect for what the program has been able to accomplish, Instead of hating on them- especially adults. Just my two cents.
The same was true in the Marshfield era, the crane era… And I thought it was cool to watch these programs, these teenagers achieve so much. Too much success always brings out the haters, i guess

Its that way with any successful program in any sports. Patriots for instance and now likely chiefs and so on and so fourth. Good programs make basketball better

I don’t think that answers the question at all. Who, on the current roster is a transfer player??

from previous years- the girl from Catholic transferred to Strafford after her dad was hired to teach there ( they had already won atleast 1 maybe 2 state championships without her and would likely have continued to do so) Are you seriously talking about girls that came during Jr. High or before? 😂😂
