This is a big game. Can the LSN take down the reigning 5A Champs? LSN has an impressive win over LSW and one concerning loss to Lee's Summit. They are building up steam and improving each week. Lee's Summit North has both Blue Springs left on their plate and the three game stretch will define their season. Battle is battle hardened with wins over Helias and a tough Rock Bridge team and has no easy schedule left with games vs Jeff and Hannibal in the next two weeks.

Big game yes but look at these numbers
Battle: 6-0
Jackson (2-4) 42-20 W
Holt (0-6) 55-12 W
Rock Bridge (2-4) 27-7 W
Excelsior Springs (2-4) 38-7 W
Helias (1-5) 28-27 W
Columbia-Hickman (0-6) 64-6
Lees Summit North: 5-1
Park Hill South (1-5) 21-7 W
Winnetonka (1-5) 14-0 W
North Kansas City (1-5) 42-6 W
Lees Summit (3-3) 27-32 L
Lees Summit West (5-1) 13-9 W
Raymore-Peculiar (3-3) 20-14 W

Yes, LSN lost a close game to LS in like the last 12 seconds of the game and that same LS team took Blue Springs into overtime before losing. You say Battle is battle tested but Battles opponents combined record is 7-29 while LSN is 15-21. LSN beat LSW and Ray-Pec both of which are no chumps. Yes LSN still has Blue Springs left but I would be more worried about Blue Springs South.

Good analysis. I am surely agree with you. Not knowing the teams that CB has too well at all I appreciate the thought. I point to CBs one pt victory over Helias not knowing that they sit 1-5 wow! It's no secret that CB's road to the dome last year was easier than it was over here in the west. I hope LSN rips them.
