As far as I am concerned the Trojans are the champs of the best league in MO. Interesting no blowouts in the league tonight...............the C6 playoffs are going to be absolutely amazing. So does that make Park Hill and Blue Springs co-conference champs, or is Park Hill the only conf champ since they won head-to-head?

Could not agree more. Looks like even a 3 win BSS squad is playing good at the right timeAs far as I am concerned the Trojans are the champs of the best league in MO. Interesting no blowouts in the league tonight...............the C6 playoffs are going to be absolutely amazing.
In the Suburban Gold they are not alone. Blue Springs South is hiding in the weeds, too. Another hint watch the LSN at Rock game next Friday. Could be a dandy.Lee's Summit has risen up and played some good football at times. They have some talented kids. Also posted a win over Rock Bridge, which was impressive.
If interested, you can watch several of Lee's Summit's games here.
I think it was a new look as West was totally dumbfounded by it. Had they seen it ahead of time, they might have figured out away to stop it.does Lee's Summit run or pass more. Is the 305 lead blocker their normal thing.
Over the summer LS lost its top 2 Quarterbacks due to injuries. The starter was lost just 2 weeks before the start of the season so they were faced with delilma of changing everything they do as a program in the weeks before for the first game or try to make it work with a talented but inexperienced sophomore. They chose the latter and took a couple of beatings from Blue Springs and Park Hill before losing at Fort in a game they turned the ball over 5 times. The change began against Rockbridge but wasn't fully implemented until the last 3 games. They have gone from a team that was 50-50 run pass to a team that threw only 3 passes in the last game. The starting running back is now the QB, their RB's are two freshman and sophomore. TJ Kennedy who was their 340 lb left tackle is now their 340 lb H Back. Coach Thomas and his staff have done a tremendous job.
The other big thing that I think gets lost is that they have gotten a lot better on Defense. They start 5 sophomores and as the year has gone on its been incredible to see their development. Against West they did a great job of playing a shell and never giving up the home run play.
How do you think Joplin would have done in the coc this year ? I'm thinking 4th place..possibly 3rd ...the game with Carthage would be close

ive been told joplin is in talks to expand visitor seating capacity and purchase a jumbotron in anticipation of the much bigger crowds with the coc move. if joplin still had their leading rusher ellis for the ls game i would give joplin a fighting chance. however i think we lose by a couple tds.
Carl Junction and Webb City have jumbotrons, so Joplin will get one.Ive gone back and forth on the LS game two weeks ago I felt pretty good. Then I went back after LS beat LSW and looked at the schedule they play and thought well they could be 6-3 pretty easily with a crazy tough schedule, I think they are 2-1 against top 10 class 6 schools , so I jumped off the wagon for just a second . But.........I'm back on the Eagle band wagon. Ill take the boys from Joplin in a little of a shocker, very tight game. Its too bad they lost the tailback. There is no doubt the Eagles miss him. Although the soph is filling in very well.
More seating would be great. Jumbotron, id save my money. You cant show replays so its not a wise expense imo. Joplin is looking $10,000 more per home game a couple times a year. maybe as much $30 to $50g a season more in revenue. Idk with all sports it could be 100.
And Bear-Eagle, you aren't factoring in game advertising. Lastly, I understand that CJ's Jumbotron was paid for by a sponsor, not the school.
