They want in the COC. Potential super conference in the making. Don’t know which way the current COC schools are leaning on this.

This is what I think is more likely. Nixa will want to align itself with Webb, Carthage, etc in football. They probably wouldn’t want to play Willard or Rolla in football and under that system they wouldn’t be required to do so.
Might make more sense to start it based off enrollment, but allow the teams to "move up" or down based on success over the previous two years. Webb in the small and Ozark in the large doesn't feel right at this point.
But if you go East/West like listed above, there are some rivalry issues.
Could also "pod" it like the SEC has considered.
Not a perfect scenario, but man, what a great league this would be.

Why would they not just keep those teams and then add the 2 Springfield schools to make their own conference?
This almost seems like it waters down the COC. Waynesville and Rolla usually aren't very good. Camdenton is good most years. How good will Lebanon be in 2 years?

One big "mega conference". Those divisions are by 9-11 enrollment from MSHSAA site. They'd be great for football. Might have to exclude Central, but whatever. Branson would whine, simply because they want to play a C4 schedule as a C5 school to get some vanity points. But if their hands are tied, they'd have to join or go indy.
I think you meant Glendale instead of Parkview. They aren't part of this (not sure where they stand).
If we are talking about football, doesn't Republic go in that top league (based off both success/enrollment)?

Taking Central out of the equation, they can play three "non-con" games against whoever...ie, Carthage, Nixa, REPMO...whoever. They scared of Camdenton?
No they want to play the harder teams. The Big 8 could have never split into a big and small because of Lamar. Same issue.
So they get Camdenton and then three tough games of their choosing. Seems simple enough.
Too many Supts and ADs with a say in it to create a super conference. This was tried last year and fell apart. Part of the reason for the changes this year.
Joplin left the Ozark in part to stop Olympic sports from traveling to Waynesville, Rolla, Camdenton during midweek games. I would doubt the Joplin metro schools would want to add that with the current set up they have. They just eliminated the Branson trip. Now the only travel is Springfield metro to Joplin metro (Neosho a tad outlier to the south).
Lebanon has been good for a long time they are not a flash in the pan. Waynesville has been good in the past.
Until Waynesville figures out how to hire a quality football coach, they're going to struggle. That carousel has been rough the last 10 yrs or so.
This news should break soon. SWMO super conference is incoming. Will be interesting to see how they do the scheduling for football.

You left out Neosho and included Branson.
If this "super conference" happens, and you play everyone in the other sports, Branson/CJ may have trouble finding games.
I know this is hard for some to believe...but the world doesn't revolve around Webb City football.
It does for Webb City. I don't even know what they would do with that schedule. Pretty sure Parkview doesn't want Webb either.
My bad. I fixed it. Was pulling from an old spreadsheet I put together before all this started shaking loose.
It wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least if they had trouble finding games. Maybe they'd all have to abandon the OMC and come be a part of the big conference. Then again, Branson wouldn't be able to compete with schools half their size then.
Carthage and Joplin want to play Webb City in football. They aren’t signing off on something that Webb City objects to. And most things that make zero sense for Webb also make zero sense for Joplin and Carthage.
