Issues with Calpreps standings also. Noticed they list a school that is closed as being in (KC) Interscholastic and another team that is independent as also being a member. So not really trusting Calpreps or Maxpres both based in California for Missouri standings.

Conference affiliations change all the time. And with the playoff systems, very few pay attention. Actually, Calpreps has a correction over the local info: SE High and African Centered are one in the same. Calpreps has that right over PrepsKC

I'm a little old school so still think leagues matter. Plus as a historian/researcher I'm digging up past standings to preserve for history. PrepsKC.com is a site I use and trust even e-mailing with Chris. Over the course of 10 years Maxpreps and Calpreps have had to many mistakes to rely only on them. they still haven't fixed the botched Ozark standings for 4 years in the 2000s.

I understand the frustration on a smaller scale. But, I've had recent success with maxpreps in terms of them updating schedules that are missing games and such. I just send an email through their feedback link on the site detailing the correction/addition, along with a link for reference (usually MSHSAA and sometimes the school's website (which isn't always accurate either)) and within a couple of days, I get a confirmation email and the info on the team site has been updated.

It worked most recently when I notified them that Ritenour was omitted from Pattonville's football schedule - and vice versa. They added the game and the score within two days of my email. Just have to stay on them because they probably get hundreds of the same types of emails every week.

In one sense, it's frustrating to see so many errors and omissions....if someone is going to build a fairly decent website for high school schedules and results - then do it well or don't do it at all.

edit: I will add a praise too....the maxpreps mobile app is pretty nice. I probably use it more than the website. They make it easy to update scores, add pictures if you're at a game and can select your favorite teams that you like to follow closely, as well as, build customized scoreboards that you want to monitor.

Wish Missouri had statewide site like Kansas does - Kpreps.com. PrepsKC.com does a good job also on both sides of state line but it's for KC metro and suburbs. St Louis Dispatch is great on scores for east side of the state just no standings. Been a couple years since had a subscription to Springfield News-Leader but was always great on scores and standings. Just little frustrating having to check so many sites to get the info

The St. Louis papers are frustrating. In the past, you get no team game stats. It was all individual.

The conference standings are on the STLPD page. You have to click on a team and their league standings. Here is the Suburban West - American standings. I think to most, Conference has become an afterthought over here with the constant changes and small conferences.

Thanks that takes care of St Louis region, PrepsKC.com takes care of KC area and O-zone.com takes care of Springfield/Ozarks/SW Missouri so pretty good shape now. I suspect sometime in the future will be just like Oklahoma, no leagues for football but still going for all others sports.
