Lawson is coming in two weeks. I may take a very, very rare break from larger class HSFB to see that one.
Have seen that one many times, could be a really good one.
So why couldn't the varsity kicker attempt the pat? Sounds like lathrop has a heck of a team though.
Exactly. They probably have 4-5 kids on the sideline who can kick an extra point for Pete's sake. Lathrop is good, really good. This is simply Holt being Holt.
I've witnessed Coach Holt taking a beating.
I prefer what I see in other coaches in the area that let off the gas when up by 35. That's the watermark. I saw a guy do the gentleman thing last night.
In his defense, knowing the physical nature of what Lathrop does you can rip a tired bunch even when emptying the bench.
No excuse. Varsity played first half, JV played 2nd half. That's it, score board had nothing to do with it.

Here's a list of typical scenarios in games like this.
1. One team is markedly superior than its opponent, so overwhelmed they can't do anything to keep them out of the endzone. This can happen quickly in the span of less than 2 quarters.
Unless you go into the game with the philosophy that includes heavy substitutions throughout the 2nd qtr. as the game reaches 35 to 0, you will score 50 plus in the first half. Many coaches don't do this because:
a) the varsity needs the work, and there's a huge disparity between the varsity and the junior varsity.
b) they don't know how much better they are then the opponent until the score is outrageously one sided.
c) revenge
d) you sometimes try to pull the plug, and the dumb butts keep in the starters to beat up your Frosh team.
Looking at the archives of Lathrop games and final scores, not only Lathrop but historically other final scores, when given the opportunity, most of the Northwest Missouri Coaches pour it on each other.

Scoreboard has everything to do with it. It was unnecessary to tack on the two, clock was running out.
I didn't say all of them. The 80 sumpin to 0 Cameron score just jumps out at me.
