Lathrop plays what I think is a much more dangerous Summit Christian Academy than the one they thumped a year ago next week. Will be VERY interesting to see how they come out emotionally in that one.

2010 playoffs vs. Richmond, I think. They lost by 7; Richmond went on to win a state championship.
That game was at Richmond, at least according to MSHSAA.

Some people say Maryville overrated. But they have a good track record over last 20 years. In 18 of last 20 years they were either in State championship game or beat by a team that was.

Pretty sure it was Richmond in playoff game. Chillicothe ended the long conference streak couple years ago.

PA announcer made several remarks that were just wierd, like made you say "dude, does he go through this long spew every game"?? The remarks weren't arrogant, per say, they were just the kind of remarks designed to possibly play head games,etc. Anyway, doesn't matter NOW, but my brother and I got a good laugh out of it

That stuff drives me nuts. Worst examples I've heard in person were the C4 semi at then upstart Lee's Summit West in 2006 and another C4 semi five years later up in Savannah.

Both were against Webb. One the announcer followed showing them respect with bragging how they basically hadn't played anyone like West who had no negative plays all season.................until that game began. The other was the Savannah PA way over-emphasizing the Savages increasing lead by saying ZEEEEEROH. Then the second half happened.................
Ohhhh at the end of the game his tone had changed, and the subliminal undertones were flying in from everywhere hahaja
