Pass blocking for Lamar just couldn’t stop Lathrop. 21 unanswered points, and Lamar had to throw a little. Couldn’t get r done.

Goes to show size is fantastic but athleticism is better..............kudos again to the Mules!
One could say the only difference in this 7 point game was the blocked punt returned for a touchdown. In other words, two pretty evenly matched teams running similar offenses, but Lathrop was the benefactor of the game's biggest single play.

Lamar had to rely on long slow methodical drives
, and when they failed, Lathrop was there to capitalize. They can score much more quickly. This was a couple of turnovers away from being a 21+ Point win for Lathrop

Watched the game online. Had never seen Lamar play and it was entertaining. The very first drive of the game was impressive by them. Only for Lathrop to answer so quickly. Mistakes by both sides but still a great game on both sides. I’ve already seen posts that say Lathrop has no chance next week. I’m going to say watch out, Lathrop is riding high and will be ready to play next week. I think they will push BO, and I won’t be surprised if they can beat them. They represented the KCI very well today. I will be cheering Lathrop on next Friday afternoon. Big congrats to Coach Holt and the Mules.
The opposite of classy. Lots of belligerent fans— it reminded us of Fort Osage fans. Get testy when calls don’t go their way. Talking a lot of smack. Lathrop shut them up.
I don't remember Lathrop having any turnovers. Maybe I missed something but , the only turnovers that I recall were when Lathrop took the ball out of the Lamar QB's hands for one turnover and blocked a punt for a TD for another turnover. Did Lathrop have any turnovers?

Only one word describes Lamar on Saturday. Class! True champion culture Start to finish. Fans, Coaches, and Players it really added to the playoff environment, and made for a great day of HS Football. Hats off to them.
The whining and loud cussing after questionable calls. The Lamar fans in the end zone taunting and mouthing Lathrop fans? You missed that? Most had class . Some were acting like deplorable losers.
lol the guy who said Blair Oaks would never make it to the title game because their schedule was too weak is now jumping on their bandwagon!!! Priceless
Sounds like every single game I have ever been to and for both teams.
