Has a college degree. Played the game. Probably knows a little something about it.

If we’re going to hold JV coaches to a higher standard than that then there’s going to be a bunch of them out of a job.

Boy did you miss the point, I was asking if there was a connection to someone at Montgomery, In April of 2020 Ellis was in Denver Co. working out for the NBA, August 2020 he's in Montgomery City Mo. What did he see an ad for the JV job at Montgomery and say I think I'll check that out? Just a question of the connection not his qualifications.

So you’re saying not many aspiring NBA players find themselves coaching JV hoops in rural America a few short months after NBA camp? Lol. I’d say, if nothing else, a tad bit of a lifestyle change.

I think he coached for and travel group out of Columbia and a kid played for him from there. Also believe one his his players moved from JC up there as well whem
