Since LaBron did such a good job of baiting Green into having to set out game#5 tonight and all he got was a technical with the Warriors start the game getting to shoot that technical?

Do you have a problem with that? What do you think should have been done? Guys bait opponents into technical all the time, its just part of it.

What should have been done was a foul called on the initial play. It could have been an illegal screen or a simple foul on the defense. A double foul could have even been called. A foul WAS committed and any call would have defused the situation. But the ref simply watched them bang, then Lebron tossed Green to the floor, then stepped across him, then Green tried to get up and took a backhanded swing/push at Lebron to get him off, then Lebron turned around and pushed Green back. The ref kind of tried to get between them at that point but the play continued. Nothing had been called at that point. Nothing was called until later when the play ended and they were all mouthing each other. A simple whistle at the beginning of it all would have prevented any Ts or flagrants from being issued. GS likely wouldn't have been a player short last night.

The refs are to blame for all the physical crap and tempers and Ts and flagrant fouls. If they'd call fouls when they occur the players would calm it down. But they don't and it just escalates. I'd get ticked off too if I was being hit and pushed and held all the time. It's both ways. It's been more like rugby than basketball. I don't understand the league's thinking. Why do they want it to be a free for all? Do they secretly want the altercations to build hype? I'd much rather watch the most skilled basketball players in the world show those skills. Not watch them get mugged every time they try to move. It's become absurd.

I completely agree with what you said. I watched the play and remember watching the ref look like he was trying to get on his tip toes to see over the 2 of them go at it. If they missed a foul call whatever but blow the whistle and separate the 2 as soon as LeBron turns around and goes after Green. Shouldn't have gone that far.

My question to Mopossum was more about if he thought LeBron should have been suspended too. I took it as he thought he should have been. I don't think either should have been suspended. Give them both Ts which would have gone towards future Ts if they come about in this series.

LeBron is a baby.
There haven't been many statements posted to Mosports in my 13 years associated with the board that speak the truth like this one. Dude is, IMHO, the best player in the world. Which is amazing considering how mentally weak he is. Scary to think how good he could be with Bird or MJ's mental approach to tough situations.

LeBron is a baby.

Really!!! He is no different than any other star currently. Every superstar does what LeBron said. And if you watch you would realize LeBron gets fouled more than any other player out there but since he is so strong it doesn't get called. I would be frustrated if that happened to me as well. Bird and MJ didn't have to deal with that and 100 more cameras at games seeing everything they did.

If LeBron is a baby than so is Curry and Thompson. Look at them every time they think they get knocked down shooting a jumper, they put their hands in the air and look around like "come on I must have gotten the crap knocked out of me if I missed that bad and dude stood next to me"!

Watching tonight's game reminds me why I hate NBA ball.

The officiating was horrible in favor of lebron, and don't get me wrong, I could care less who wins.
I don't like either team, don't follow it, but the calls in the fourth were just crap.

I would just like to make a point about how Kerr and the warriors especially Steph cried like a baby all game long about calls. When LeBron did this earlier people hated on him. Kerr and Steph do it, not a peep is made. Kerr even went on to call out refs by name during an interview simply to try and get the refs to make calls in favor of the warriors in game 7. Just proves that all stars expect special treatment whether you are a physical freak of nature or built just like the average Joe sharp shooter.

So lets get off LeBron's back!!!

After several of you guys told me how great the NBA playoff games are today I've seen mostly negative comments about the officiating and the cry baby millionaires that play in the NBA. I guess I'll just stick to little boy's baseball, summer league softball and Cardinal games.

I was not complaining about the " cry baby millionaires" I was just making a point that everyone does it but LeBron gets hated on more for it than anyone. Everyone complains about officiating at every level. Ever been to a middle school basketball game, its worse their than anywhere else lol. I just hate people killing LBJ for something everyone else does too.

I still think the NBA is great and can't wait for next season to get started!
