QB is a position they need to get figured out. Reads are not precise and Webb has been blessed with excellent QBs which is needed when running the veer. Hopefully, there is an underclassman that can step up.

Streaks don't last forever and how you handle winning when you are on top determines how you will be treated when you are down. Other than just a few exceptions, the Webb fans on this board have always been fair to me. They have a great program. They aren't down and out.

This is what many of us have hoped for in the COC. Parity. My guess is most years the Class 4 winner still comes out of this conference.

To be fair, some people have been knocking their fans on here for a while. I wouldn't know. I just joined. But I heard they (a minority of Webbies) acted despicable after their loss to Kearney last year, especially about a big hit in the 1Q that set the tone for Kearney's three quarters of dominance. But that's just what I heard.

Nobody has been knocking Webb. Some people take shots at the sanctimonious fanboys (a small # of alleged WC fans) on this site.
Anyone even looking at this year has to think we haven't seen a slow start from WC. That this could indeed just be a slow start. And the playoffs are a long way away. And if bugs are worked out, why not a run all the way? There are different ways to skin a cat. This may be an unusual year, but nobody should be thinking "lost" year. Too much football left to be played.
