Kearney vs Ft Osage

Both KHS QB's looked very good tonight I think Pretzel only had one incomplete pass.

I was impressed with Pritzel. His experience as a starter at ES was evident.

I think the young qb at Fort, Ty Baker will be good. Just needs game experience and a little weight.

I saw the highlights. Looks like Fort just needs to put it all together. Great physical players.

Agreed, thought the same thing on the weight issue and felt he made good decisions at QB. "Arm a bit weak however".

Kearney's Pritzel surprised me with his ability to scramble and hold the ball until the receiver broke open.
The two point conversion play I thought was done nicely.

Only fault I could find might be his weight. Most Kearney QBs from the past were heavier but not as agile.

Over all I say A+ for his first start as a Bulldog...

Going to have to take everyone's word for it but hear nothing but great things about this kid. Plans as of now are to work Friday nights until the Week 5 matchup at Jewell vs. Liberty North and Week 8 home vs. Staley then likely wait to see what happens........

Probably got used to running for his life with the Tigers. Excellent scrambler.

Would love to say I knew it all along but in reality an ES mother told me that he would start.

After watching him play live for myself I've gave my post name to her.

Mom4U.....lol :)

Thanks Excelsior

He's watched some Staubach scrambles. Weak arm? 12 of 14 with lazers. I guess he can throw long? He doesn't need to. His QB rating is like 150+

Not sure if you read that post correctly?

I was referring to the weak arm of the Fort Osage QB.
K-Towns QB has shown he could go deep in the scrimmage with Ray-Pec.

Not a knock on Fort's qb by the way. He was asked to do a lot in filling Mr Thompson's shoes...;)

Yep, I read it wrong. Fort is really close to putting it all together. Their D line is really good. Their running back as well. They can cause some damage.

Why did Pritzel transfer from EX Springs?
Would you rather be the starting QB running the triple option on a mediocre class 4 team, or the starting QB on a really good class 4 team?

*I don't know any facts, that's just the obvious assumption.

If Kearney REALLY wants to recruit they should head just a bit south and west (Liberty North and Staley). :D

I'm not sure anyone from Liberty/LN or Staley would be of real help considering Kearney's dominating record against these schools (13-4), but cherry picking would be nice. This QB was a big nugget of gold found in a dung heap.

I'd give anything for Kearney to have convinced OP coaching legend Keith Ross to relocate here.

And private schools get blasted for kids transferring in???

Mr ball knocker,
Where we's live in this here Prairie settlers are welcome if they earn their keep.

Just yestersdays we here people saw a new Sheriff come ride into town.

He says he knows somethings about keeping the peace so we hired him.

Ya see young fella, we likes to WIN.

Anything less stirs up theses here townfolk and all hells break loose.

Yes-some I guess lossing is xseptible to others such homesteads but here ins our little home on the prairie,

WINNINGS is EVERYTHING....
Just saying ...;)

When? He retired in '12.
The point was so his star RB kid would be playing for Kearney and not Staley the past two years. He (Julian) is my early Simone favorite. CANNOT wait for Week 8 to get here.........

Coach Ross's kid is Eli the LB. Not sure Kearney needs more of those. Julian is not another son.

you don't even have to relocate into the district to go to staley, you just showup.

how weak is class 5 if Liberty is ranked 8. Liberty N gets manhandled and is still ranked 4th. Except for Staley, I would take the C4 top 10 in head to head match ups with C5 top 10.

Liberty North had three starting linemen out last week. Not sure why. Probably made a bit of a difference. Sometimes it take three or four weeks for people to realize teams that were good last year aren't as good this year.

With the "assumption" that Kearney continues to roll. The rematch of LN this year will be fun to watch...

Maybe this years team has forgiven them for last years only loss....
