Credit where due Kearney continues to win and improves to 6-0 but this is a real surprise to me............I know it was Homecoming and that can be a distraction BUT maybe Belton's win over Platte County last week wasn't a fluke............
Sharp QB play for Belton. Outstanding running back. Line play was good too. Three plays made this seem closer than it was. Fumble by Kearney. Holding call nullifying a 50 yard TD, and one broken play for 65 yards by the Belton running back. Otherwise, it wasn't in doubt until the last 5 min.
very close game;
this was on final drive 3rd & 12 with 2:49 left on own 20-35 yd line and kearney has ball & throws incomplete pass. but belton gets called for a 15 yard penalty because player on the defense helmet came off and he continued to play during the play...

How did Belton lose to Liberty? Belton definitely deserves their #7 ranking in Class 5

Belton had four key players out with injuries and suspension when they lost to Liberty. Belton could be a dangerous draw in the playoffs.
