Not running the ball he wasn't................nor was Davis. These two, in my opinion, led K to a win that never should have been as close as the final score. VERY encouraged overall by what I saw tonight................more on this later.

He ran the crap of it. What a weapon! Kearney sure has their number, is that 12 and 1? The series goes back a long way. Way back to KCI conference and perhaps before. 810 reported the all time record is 13 games. Has to be more games than 13?

Actually Kearney came very close to blowing this out big time early-mid 4th. Clean up an issue or two and the rematch (barring intangibles like weather or injuries) may not be nearly this close.

Kearney has their number. PC left some points on the field. Dropped the ball. Kearney should've blown them out? Why do PC teams have a tendency to get personal fouls? Some personalites never change. Dogs beat them down hard in the rematch.

This was just the appetizer. The one for all the marbles should happen in three weeks. How each team adjusts will be a big part of the rematch (K must find a way to get more pressure on PC's outstanding QB and PC must cut down the turnovers). All that being said I thought Kearney was in full control and just needed to sustain the mid-4th quarter drive and the score would never have gotten where it did BUT credit the Pirates for not quitting (many teams do in that situation).

Since 1960, when football started in Kearney, the 'Dogs are 17-21 against PC. However since 1992, they are now 14-1.
