Kearney 0. Hville.0. End of 1st

Kearney 34, Harrisonville 14 final................

Kearney horrible in first half. Totally dominated the second in every aspect of the game.
Along the lines of what I saw. As I told others with whom I attended the Liberty North game opening night often see some crazy first half scores which correct in the second stanza. Looked to me (watched webcast on my phone) Harrisonville simply gassed out as the game wore on due to lack of depth i.e. many players going both ways.

Absolutely. They had a lot of players going both ways. Kearney did not. Hville got punked, manhandled, and beaten down in the 2nd H, despite looking super sharp in the first half. Great coaching and execution by HVille. They got out-physicalled.

That is exactly what happened. Had a couple players that played every play and many who have to go both ways. Between injuries and concussions, have a lot of players out. So ran out of steam. Penalties in key situations did not help either. They are a young team still and will get quite a few guys back as the season goes on, so they will be fine. Actually very encouraged by this first game.

Nice stadium and nice night for a game.

The weather was almost breathtaking for this time of year. Next week, your home opener vs. Maryville, will be another big early measuring stick. Kearney has, as previously mentioned, the Mean Green Falcon machine coming to town.

Of the two, I'll take Maryville.

Honestly not real sure about Staley especially offensively BUT they have about a zillion players from whom to choose so am pretty sure they will get it figured out.
