"Mainstream" sports media is essentially dead in KC. Truth being told I haven't read the "scar" for years..............
Seems years ago now, but I always enjoyed getting the weekend editions for all of the Friday night scores and a few articles on some of the highlight games. But lets face it, print media is going the way of the dinosaurs.

Yes. But they have no reservations about reporting on the topic of concussions, heat advisories and crap that coaches and trainers do a good job of diagnosising. We sure don't need their opinion on that. It's always bad. I'm canceling my subscription, but I'm going to give them an earful as they kick me out.
810 Varsity was actually pretty descent this week but I am sure they will be right back to their normal "Kansas is the Greatest" selves next week now that those pu$$*!s are playing again!
They are not all Kansas. And I can attest to that myself. My boss really like what Missouri has more. But feels it would be unfair to rate it that way. And since the $$$ comes from KS, he has to keep them happy

They really should stop doing Metro ratings if they are going to rank more than 2 Kansas teams in the top 10....because they LOST ALL CREDIBILITY when they put 5 of them in there.
THEY SHOULD DO EVERYONE A FAVOR...DO A TOP 10 FOR MISSOURI AND TOP 10 FOR KANSAS IN THE METRO AND LEAVE IT AT THAT.

Top to bottom KS is not very strong but the top teams over there are legit. Miege, Blue Valley, Aquinas and BV North all legit top 10 teams in the KC area. Heck even Free State is. So personally I think KS deserves at least 4 teams in the top 10 until proven otherwise this season
I believe that Missouri has dominated the MO-kan game for years. If all of the players from Missouri would of played this year it would of been a blowout again!
810 isn't as bad as Spectrum Sports! They are the ones that I can hardly stomach! I guess we were all just spoiled back when we had Metro Sports!
If it was for the Score Stream App the KC Star wouldn't post game results.
