Colorado has landed another one. Grandview (Mo.) shooting guard Alec Burks is headed to the Big 12 school.
He is the second player this week to commit to the Buffaloes. The 6-foot-5 scorer joins California wing Keegan Hornbuckle in the 2009 recruiting class.
“Alec Burks has given a verbal commitment to the University of Colorado to play men’s basketball,” Grandview District Athletic Director Steve Robertson said in a press release.
The three-star guard also considered Kansas State. He visited the Wildcats at the beginning of September. Burks averaged 19.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a junior.
