On my walk this morning I saw a guy I used to teach with. He said he went to see the new Elvis movie over the weekend and on his way out in the lobby he saw a lady who is a local business owner.
They got into a conversation regarding the movie. She said she had switched movies after a few minutes because she couldn’t stand seeing Tom Hanks on the screen. It just makes her sick, what he has done to those kids he has trafficked and abused. She said she can’t stand to look at his face.
The guy tried to be polite but questioned where she got this information. She looked at him like he was an idiot for not knowing what Hanks and “other liberals” have done. She said she knows Hanks died two years ago and it’s not really him. Instead it is James Woods disguised as him and taking his roles, but she still can’t stand to look at him.
After some questioning, the lady (who is on the chamber of commerce) said she meets with a group each week at a local restaurant and one person will share their findings each meeting. Included in the group is a spouse of a Mo state rep.
These people have been in this community for decades and have lots of friends, relatives, business and political contacts. Holy sh!+. Social media is turning people batsh.. crazy.
