That is true. He also won't be president. Their are a lot of things Kasich won't be.

I don't think VP's really help much in the way of votes but for those who do, Kasich just might deliver Ohio. I think I remember that being a pretty important state in this goofy electoral scheme we have to elect presidents.

He's the kind of person who makes a lot of sense as a vp pick for an establishment candidate like Rubio. Older, swing state governor who has been good on the stump. Medicaid is his real weakness there. Might be tough for some to get past that.
