Class 6
Liberty North and Lees Summit North still who we thought they were.
Blue Springs South out of the cellar and looking good with Wilmes.
Class 6 is extremely competitive. Very close games and teams flipping wins each weak.
A lot of teams score a lot, but very little defense. Hard to tell where they fall without playing the Norths' defenses.
Ray Pec still undefeated playing solid defensive teams in Rockhurst and keeping up with other high octane offenses as well.

Class 5
Platte County is the best Class 5 team. Two losses to Smithville and Kearney by very slim margins.
Oak Park and St.Joe Central both are doing much better than expected. Great for those schools!
Fort not looking too good which wasnt expected. Battling injuries and boring and predictable offensive playcalling.
Class 5 is weak again in KC.

Class 4
Kearney is who Joey thought they were and now have more fans. Minnick doing wonders quickly with superior offensive sets and playcalling.
Smithville is still top caliber in Class 4 as well.
Center is also looking strong, especially on offense.

Others
Pius is rolling
Lafayette County is doing well
Pleasant Hill looking strong

Probably missing a few others.

Are you hearing anythign on Menne's injury.....is he expcted to return?

Agree on the playcalling. They HAVE to find a way to get the ball in Fenners hands more than they have so far. Heck, put him in the wildcat.

Week 5 GUARANTEED regional game of the week: RICHMOND at Higginsville. If the Lou gang cannot meet up with me I am 100 percent going to this one (may anyway and make them drive over LOL)..............Spartans in caps because you did not list them.

"now have more fans". The REAL ones, in my humble little opinion, are those of us who watched and rooted on our KDogs even when we knew they were not gonna do so well (see DeSoto game last year).

Pius has Maryville who is quietly rolling, too, and only lost to a supreme quality Blair Oaks Week 1. Could be a shootout next week at that very nicely remodeled stadium at the 29-35 split.

Both are questionable in my opinion if you are talking about being contenders. They play each other Week 8.
I’m just curious. Lol With the shakeup of district alignments Lamar would head to KC to play someone in that district. Haven’t ever watched any of those teams in that district.

C6 Liberty North needs to get that offense rolling. A shootout team like Park Hill could, kid all not, be an issue for them.

C5 Agree on Platte County if just a bit now. It feels very wide open until/unless Fort gets healthy.

C4 K and Smithville could easily rematch in November. Center is not likely to face anyone with that level of physicality so gotta think the D8 winner hosts St. Mary's in the semis.

One thing is for sure Highway 92 is a battle zone. Will all three now run the regular season table after engaging in three tossups?

Nothing major. If not Blue Springs he should be back week after. Jogging onto field last night was promising. Peppers appeared to have a shoulder injury. Hopefully heals soon. Pulled him after first quarter. Hopefully he gets healed up for Blue Springs.
Use a tight end to have an extra blocker. What's the point of three receivers if the QB doesn't have time to get them the ball, or if the coaches continue to run up the middle that is another reason to have an extra blocker. A lot of fans mocking the play calling last night. Minnick is a great example of a guy who adapted their offense to fit the talent they have. A talent like Fenner doesn't come around often. He's being neutralized in returns this year so we aren't seeing those points and then barely gets touches.
