OU set the tone right out of the gate with the kicking ejection play that took out one of their best D players. As I preach every bleeping week at every level of FB gotta treat each team with equal respect and NEVER EVER do something like that to ignite especially a big underdog.Hell has frozen over...
Their OOC games were houston and UCLA. They shouldn't sniff the playoff now. Play somebody.Hell has frozen over...
Haha voodoo the week before Halloween.................
I love Skylar and always will. He was considered "borderline" D1 coming out of Fort and Snyder took a shot with him that is paying off. OU, frankly, deserved and needed this. As pointed out on the Sooner blogs today many players were talking playoff/Championship after beating West freaking Virginia last Saturday. Back to the maturity issue................fort O says hello
I actually think Auburn wins today but it will be close. This is the ultimate pressure of college FB and why I think eventually we need four major conferences with the winner of each playing in the playoffs. The LSU-Bama loser will be 11-1, with their only loss coming to the SEC Champion. OU's loss will be to K-State, so both SEC teams are likely in over OU. Throw in the Big-10 & ACC winners and there's not much room for OU to squeeze in this year. This loss hurts them a lot.
agree got to see Skylar up and close a few years in a row and he was great, as a UGA fan it happened to us 2 weeks ago! Players looked past usc and well the rest is historyI love Skylar and always will. He was considered "borderline" D1 coming out of Fort and Snyder took a shot with him that is paying off. No way. They are the "wild card" in the SEC. Should win the East then anything can happen in the title game (like two years ago).Don't count the UGA Dawgs out!
Yea but I think we drop another to fla or auburn or bothNo way. They are the "wild card" in the SEC. Should win the East then anything can happen in the title game (like two years ago).
Will win the cocktail party (Florida). Auburn could be a good game but QB experience favors your Dawgs.Yea but I think we drop another to fla or auburn or both
Ohio State has a tough road to that 13-0. Rival Michigan is smarting and Penn State is never an easy out. Don't leave Auburn out of this...............Insane possible scenario:

The Sooners will, like the last two years, fall to around 10th ranked then slowly creep back up.................Riley and staff won't nearly let this team play like this twice. Whether it will be enough to go to a third consecutive playoff is a huge unknown.
Depends on how it gets there but 12-1 Georgia would be the SEC champ.
Yep. Look what has happened to Texas.............Reminds me of some of Stoops teams. Win the big games then go lose to Colorado or Kansas St. Not impossible but odds very slim for OU at this point. Big 12 is down this year IMO and really couldn’t afford a loss.
Yes. Either that or an 8-team playoff with each of the P5 champions plus 3 at-large teams.I actually think Auburn wins today but it will be close. This is the ultimate pressure of college FB and why I think eventually we need four major conferences with the winner of each playing in the playoffs.

I've wanted Oklahoma and Texas to go to a 16-team SEC for years now. Were that to happen, though, there would go the rest of the Big 12. They would become like the American Conference............Yes. Either that or an 8-team playoff with each of the P5 champions plus 3 at-large teams.
16 Team SEC would be brutalI've wanted Oklahoma and Texas to go to a 16-team SEC for years now. Were that to happen, though, there would go the rest of the Big 12. They would become like the American Conference............
They sure are now. Tough loss today. Still would not count them out vs. Bama next month.auburn is out, K
That could definitely happen. Pre-season they were my favorite to win the SEC.Depends on how it gets there but 12-1 Georgia would be the SEC champ.
