I was hoping he had escaped from a Chinese meat market and hid on a plane. The report I saw says there is no evidence that it could be transmitted from pets back to humans. How could they possibly know right now?

Sounds like the dog was really a de minimis contact positive, like finding human residue on an animal. There's no evidence there was a material transmission to Fido (thankfully.)

Are they vaccinated for THIS virus? I get a flu shot every year and the occasional cold but I'll bet that doesn't help me with this thang. We just can't know yet.
