That kid is worth the price of admission by himself. I would pay just to watch him pinch run.

Fast and fearless! He'll make some mistakes but they will be far outweighed by the good stuff! He's even got Carp fired up about taking an extra base. :p 3 doubles in 3 innings has NEVER been done by any MLB player and 4 in a game ties for the record with some other folks.

Amazing how much playing time he missed out on by running Fowler out there daily.

I just hope when/if Fowler becomes healthy enough to play, whether it be late this season or next, those on high don’t send the order to play Fowler over anyone unless he earns it.

I say there is no way for him to earn it until spring. :D

I'm trying to figure why they keep putting Martinez in RF. This ain't little league you should NOT put your worst outfielder in RF, he should be in LF when he's in the game. Most of my ball playing days were spent in the OF and I can tell you that RF is the toughest to play in baseball, or even slow pitch softball. Balls hit to RF come off the bat funny a lot, very hard to read sometimes. In higher levels of baseball you put your guy with the best range in center field, best arm in RF and the other one in LF.

His bat.

Yes but his bat would be in the lineup where ever they want it with him in LF. He has very little range, doesn't read the ball well off the bat and his arm ain't anything to brag about. It might help if he would put his hand in the glove, not just his fingers. The line drive last night would have knocked his glove off even if he had caught it.

I understand what you’re saying, but when Ozuna returns JMart will be in RF. I don’t know if he’s good enough to keep shifting/flip-flopping has him around.

I get that but he don't have to be there now.
