I don't know a ton about KC area football but I'm learning. I know that OP is good enough to beat a top 5 C5 school...... I realize that team got the early boot, but still, they can't be THAT bad.

Goes to show how hard it is to reverse two plus decades of losing. Raytown has had some great skill position athletes BUT still lags badly on the lines thus these shocking upsets the past two seasons. Until they match up on the lines the Blue Jays will never truly crack the upper escheleon of C5.

Just to go a different direction, I know that NKC did not have a winning season since 2002...anyone know how to find out how long it was before that when they had a winning season? I mean, when you say Northtown, I think of 2 to 3 win seasons.

For this time of year it will be VICIOUSLY cold up here Friday night. I have seen many games where that affects tackling and could be a big NKC advantage making this one closer than it may appear on paper.

Staley's offense has been a mere shadow (injuries are the main reason) of 2017 this season. For that reason I am hopeful they can make the semis but would consider them an underdog from there on...........

It was pretty good. CJ was kept from the end zone and only had 3-4 really good runs. Once NKC got behind they had to try things they were not good at or used to doing. The fumble, scoop, and score pretty much sealed their fate. Staley ran the ball really well.
