...just a friendly FYI that the video quality is no better than the online stream (there's even some of the same kind of skipping...)

...just in case you were considering spending the $25 per game for the DVD...

That $50 include shipping? lol

Yeah, I got mine, yesterday, also. The sentimental value, alone, makes it worth the $30 I paid for it. The production value is no better than a poorly made high school video. Seems hard to believe that they couldn't, at least, film it in a higher def format. I guess it's better than nothing, though.

This is really disappointing. You would think with $7 a pop for playoff games and $10 for championship game, they would be able to film and edit in some high quality stuff!

Thanks for the heads up!

It's on the Lamar Tigers Page and I THINK it's Joe Davis who is the admin on that page. If you are interested I would suggest you check out the page. :)

Man, the DVD for LR's championship game back in 2011 is top notch! Not HD, but not flip-phone video either (like this year's games...)

I saw a link floating around facebook yesterday to the last minute or so of the class 2 game plus some post game footage. I think it was from NFHS or something. It was very well done, much like the FSMW coverage in the past

That sounds like what I bought, but the video quality itself is pixelated as crap...(not unexpected when streaming, but I'd expect a DVD copy to be at least standard cable quality...

Oh well; I'm over it!

Well I THOUGHT I was over it, until right before the second half of the Class 3 DVD the sound goes to static and stays that way for the remainder of the disc :mad::mad:

Now searching for refund paths...

Just curious for some feedback. Our school live-streams a lot of our activities through YouTube. Can some of you let me know how we compare to the pros.

Here's a link to just one random game

The channel is RSWolvesTV.

Thanks

Considering it appears that the broadcasts are done by students with handheld cameras, I'd say pretty darn good! Different shots of the field are coordinated and scoreboard graphics are used...

...well done!
