Just an opinion about state rankings.

I noticed that Class 3 #1 McCluer South-Berkeley is (5-0) was idle again this week. I believe they were idle in week 1 as well. The number 2,3 & 4 ranked teams are all 7-0 on the season. Not that rankings really matter that much, but if a team sits idle twice while others are playing and staying undefeated they should not be ranked at the top. Just my opinion.

I wouldnt lose a lot of sleep over it.
They came up with this cool way to find champions at the end of the season.

I'm not going to. I just can't see how a voter in good conscious could vote a team #1 that isn't playing as many games as the other teams in their class. By not playing as many it will either help them (staying healthy) or hurt them (lack of in game experience). We will see come playoff time.
