Seems the two people police in the video declared as persons of interest are black and one of them is a friend of Jussie who has appeared on "Empire"
Chicago (CNN) — One of the two men investigators have questioned as persons of interest in the alleged attack on actor Jussie Smollett has appeared on the show "Empire," Chicago Police Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said Thursday.
Guglielmi said earlier on Twitter that "the people of interest are alleged to be in the area where a crime was reported. They are not considered suspects at this time."
Smollett should be charged with a hate crime if it is proved he set this all up to stoke racial outrage against whites
