Possibly they were the real deal. 366 has been asking what is a check defense and what is the stink about Class 2 Trinity a lot here lately. Ab122 seems to be in cahoots with him.

I see his point, though. Back in my day, football always started the first Friday in September and the first practice was 3 weeks before that. Although we also had 2 weeks of two-a-days back then to get ready. There's something unnatural about starting practice in July.

I know when I played 20 plus years ago the season started labor day and 2 practices a day started about three weeks before that. A lot has changed since then.
