It's not that everyone wouldn't LOVE for this game to be a HUGE upset... it's just that it WOULD be a huge upset.
An Eagle win here would be 'inspirational film' worthy.

David vs goliath..David will be crushed but good year for joplin.
CBC pulls starters in the start of the 3rd. Joplin keeps it close for about a quarter and a half. CBC rolls. But? Couldn’t want to be more wrong.
if Westmorelands knee is too banged up to play its gonna be worse. hes worth 2-3 TDs on both sides of the ball.
Maybe some of the kids who stepped up yesterday can help make it a game a little longer.
If Joplin’s defense shows up flying around like they have the past month combined with enough speed on the edge and in the secondary then they absolutely have a GREAT chance of staying in this game.

CBC won't blink. That being said their D isn't superhuman so Joplin prolly gets a few scores...........i.e. this score is about right.

No not at all. Ten years ago Vashon was stripped of all wins for 5 years, three state championships and their coach went to federal prison. He was providing apartments, cash and cars for high school athletes.
It took a book being written about it that MSHSAA and the police couldn't ignore before charges were filed. Playing dirty is a way of life up there

I was just thinking this morning how nice it will be for Joplin to get to see a team loaded with kids playing on scholarship!!! We'll have a few more folks to jump on the bandwagon leading the charge against the Privates!
it was a bad deal,,,,their coach did jail time over the mess
CBC and it could be a game for about a half. Remember Kickapoo had a good team back in 2015 beating Lee's Summit, Lee's Summit West, and Blue Springs on their way to the Semi Final game against CBC where Kickapoo caused 5 CBC turnovers, Kickapoo's offense just couldn't match CBC's speed defensively. It was a good game for a half and CBC won 35-14. CBC went on to lose the title game that year.
