Joplin fans ...looking for some advice

Going to the Joplin game TM night and I have only been to two games there ever and both times it was against Webb and I got there at like 5 pm and sat on the visitor side . Tomorrow my daughter is doing a dance at half but I have to work so I can't get there until like 6:40 and have to sit on the home side . What's the parking situation like that late and where is it best to park ?

I park on Junge near the bus area. I will text you tomorrow before the game and you can park by me. It's a good spot and an easy place to get out after the game.

I rolled in about 10 mins before kickoff a couple weeks ago. Parked on a side street between Junge and 20th street. Easy 3 min walk in the daylight. Needed the cell phone light for the walk back to the car. I didn't experience any trouble, but the above statement about a solid anti-theft system is probably accurate. Super easy getting out. Was on 44 in less than 5 mins.

Some of the side streets in that area are, um, unusual. Several one way streets, old roads around there are narrow and a number of intersections have "yield" signs on the crossover streets, nothing on the thru streets. Best to keep your head on a swivel.

I've arrived over there late and usually park along Junge somewhere usually east of the stadium and walk a block or two, never had any problems. It's not the best part of town, but it's also not north Springfield either. Junge is actually one of my favorite places to watch HS football in this area.
