My guess is Carthage is heavily dependent on whether or not they are hitting 3s. No other reason they would lose to Nixa by 6, split with CJ and then lose to Joplin.

Joplin played aggressive on defense. Refs called terrible fouls on Yates in the 2nd half and fouled her out early in the 4th quarter. Carthage couldn’t respond other than foul Joplin and send them to the line the last 3 minutes of the game. Joplin was ready to play and wanted it more.

This is also the first year in a while that Carthage is kind of a target or a big win for other teams. Takes time to get used to that.
