Has there been any news about the Jefferson City opening? Have they opened it up for interviews or do they already have a hire in mind? What about Mark Thomas? I know he has JC ties and would be a A+ hire.

Rumor mill is Terry, but just rumor right now. Again, with the splitting of the schools and talent, not sure if it will be a job some will want. Waiting to see how the booster club will split up too. Maybe 1 Walker at 1 school and 1 Walker at the other school?
A+ meaning 3 state Championships at two different schools (Boonville and Kearney). He also took a third school (Odessa) to the Championship game. Come on man.....
He's also going to be 60 years old, and is getting ready to retire soon. He's a good coach but he also struggles to win games when talent isn't there, he's had several losing seasons and .500 seasons. He was also the defensive coordinator at Jeff City from 2006-2010. They gave up about 30 points a game on average every year he was the DC. So I doubt he is someone that they're going to hire.
