I saw that today, it just never ends. It's one thing to give your buddies and big donors an ambassador job somewhere but putting them in charge of something this big is just crazy.
To be fair to DeJoy, he does have experience running a logistics company in the private market. This isn't as bad a patronage hire as it's been made out to be by some.
It's purely another appointment of one of his, the party's rich donors, plain and simple. He will do whatever Trump tells him to do, especially about raising rates on Amazon.
That is a low bar that we are setting.

Mnuchin, Mattis, Esper, Perdue is fine for Ag, I thought Chao was fine (although I didn't count on the overt Kentucky favoritism), and Ross seemed fine at first until we realized he was senile. There were plenty of decent ones. Haley and Gen. Kelly were fine, too. Price was fine for a generic Republican health secretary, it's not like he picked Paul Braun
I wanted Amy but I understand why the Ds coalesced around a man who is the #1 choice of the core of their base (black women voters)
I do believe she has had more legislation passed than anyone else in the debates.
