I only have a report for the boys teams (It was hard enough trying to gather what info I did for the boys. There's no way I could have done it for the girls too.) I also focused on teams from the SEMO area, since that is where I am from and it was too difficult to provide a complete report.
There were a total of 17 schools in the meet. Some of the teams represented were: Fox High School, Hillsboro, Murphysboro, Kirkwood, Notre Dame, Cape, Jackson, Poplar Bluff, Sikeston and Perryville, among others. I was disappointed to see that neither Kennett or New Madrid ran in the meet. I really wanted to see Stevenson and Ealy from New Madrid and Johnson from Kennett.
Sikeston won the overall team championship with Jackson and Fox vying for second and third. Sikeston was leading the meet by 19 points with one event left and to be honest, I didn't stay to see who finished second, but Jackson and Fox finished 2nd and 3rd in some fashion.
