The game friday nite will be played at Jackson, so more fans from Fox can come watch there kids play.

Fox is pretty solid with ball control on offense. Defense they keep everything in front of them and make you drive. They will keep it under 40. Jackson obv very good and should be favored. Fox offense and keeping the clock running will make it competitive. If Jackson turns the ball over multiple times, then you never know....

I would have to look but i believe the only team last year in reg season Jackson didn't running clock was Farmington. Farmington pretty much exclusive option team, but Fox runs it a good amount. Point being similar teams with similar theories. Keep Jackson O off the field, win time of possession, maybe hang around and see what happens.

Fox will have a hard to running the ball on jackson. That will make it difficult to control the ball and give jacksons offense more possesions

Turnovers could be a big factor for both teams. Jackson has not had a problem but opponents have. All-state QB Cael Welker has yet to throw an INT.

Fox has some very talented players, but their problem is they have so many going both ways. Jackson's no-huddle offense wears down defenses and players who go both ways are especially susceptible to fatigue against them. I think Jackson's defense is stronger this year, maybe a LOT stronger, so I don't see Fox controlling the TOP as much as they hope to do.

Jackson won by 29 last season and I think they can up that to 35+ this time, 40+ is possible. I would just like to see Jackson's first string players get to stay on the field longer, so a running clock is not important to me.

Will find out tomorrow. Their running back Maxey is as good an athlete you will find. He doesn't get a ton of carries but he will be as good an athlete there is on the field. I'd look for him to get more touches than normal.

In the pit. Once all this COVID is gone I am gonna road trip to Jackson and RawMeat and HSManiac are meeting me there!
Stop and eat at the Dew Drop Inn at the Bloomsdale exit on the way down... good food and great atmosphere. Order the brisket sandwich and onion rings...

Glad they’re playing as well, of course.

Let’s do it Top. By the way, Jackson still would not of played anyone good.

They brought a LEGION of fans to Staley last year. Most enthusiastic crowd I've seen there since Kearney in the 2009 C4 playoffs.
They are a sports nuts community. Camdenton played them in the finals at Plaster one year. Must have been 96 or so. Atmosphere was NUTS.
