Where's those dickheads that predicted seckman to win easily ?
That monster Freshman they have scares me. My Mules and by residency my Knights are going to have to experience him for three more years.
I understand that Jackson also had their second string QB starting as well only a sophomore and was slinging it with accuracy in addition to Hampton.

I'm not sure Seckman was among the top 20 Class 6 teams in the state TBH. And how would you know if they were? They played one of the weakest schedules I've ever seen a Class 6 team play. The idea that someone, anyone, picked them to advance to the Class 6 state championship beucase they were, "confident" might be one of the funniest things posted on here in a long time.
I don't have anything against Seckman, but them being rewarded with the No. 1 seed after playing that JV schedule is unfortunate.

I dont recall one post saying Seckman was winning the state championship, find it and post it if you got it.
Jackson may be a very good team but there is some really good teams in STL and 1 very good team from KC that they will most likely face. Tough road for them ahead
STL privates in C6 are as vulnerable as I've seen in (several) years. I like Jackson's chances hosting CBC next week!

If your predictions make no sense, why does my calling for you to defend them with your logic amount to tearing them down? How does making predictions qualify me to join the discussion and ask someone to make sense of theirs? I came out of my “safe space” to challenge your prediction which is tantamount to making a prediction opposite yours. Make sense?

I'm assuming it's mostly high school kids with plenty of biases, yet Seckman was picked to beat Jackson in a GSV poll with over 1800 votes... Crazy. Never thought they had a chance given how talented and disciplined Jackson.
Hit the nail on the head. There are people who I consider smart football people who played the game and still picked Seckman to win. It blew my mind and still does.
I know some people thought Jackson would be down this year with the coaching change but besides that week one loss to Edwardsville and the close game with Francis Howell, nobody has been on their level and they're going to be set for more years to come most likely with the talent that will still be there next year and their youth program being strong.
And that was a close loss to a very strong Edwardsville team on the road.
Parsons and Hampton at quarterback and running back for the next two years is scary.
In addition, Jackson returns its entire offensive line except for their D-1 right tackle. His spot is waiting to be filled by a massive freshman next season. The future looks bright for the Indians.

And brysen wessell is only a sophomore playing left tackle thia year and hes already 6’4 230. Im excited for the future for jackaon. Should be pretty talented for a while.
What does everyone over that way think of the upcoming CBC-Jackson game? I've seen both and think this is tossup city probably a shootout but the Cadets seem to be missing something this year.
I think it will be a shootout as well with the indians coming out on top for a couple reasons. One its at the pit and thats a huge home field advantage and two cbc has been known to turn the ball over quite a bit this year. Should be great game between to good teams
