its not just MoSports who irrationally hate on Trinity and Cardinal Ritter. The Losing, jealous coaches of Class 3 are also likeminded. Looking at the All-State 1st Teams, Trinity & Ritter combined only have 4 1st teamers. Which is hilarious because Trinity alone would beat the Class 3 All-State 1st/2nd/3rd teams if they made up One team.

Class 2: Blair Oaks & Lathrop 10 first teamers.

Class 3: Trinity/CR 4 LOL (Maryville & Mt Vernon gets 7 and both got choked out)

Class 4: Ladue & MICDS gets 12

Class 5: Vianney & Fort Osage gets 9

Class 6: CBC & Rockhurts gets 11.

Hopefully the AP All State teams get it right. The coaches, as FBForLife would say, are still butt hurt

Hey, Einstein, Trinity's coaches were all in the same room with those coaches when those selections were made. That's how those selections are determined. Or, were they? They may have been absent while getting the "CLASS 3 STATE CHAMPS" tattoos.
Thanks for literally adding absolutely nothing to the post. Im pointing out the bias and you response is an awful Tattoo joke.
Only respond to me with:
#1 Interesting, illuminating answers
#2 at least C+/C level jokes. There’s nothing I can do with that one buddy. Go Lamar Tigers.

Do you not understand how the All State teams are selected? Your whining should be directed at the Trinity coaches, not everyone else. Let me explain it to you. All the coaches are present for the meeting to determine those selections. The Trinity coaches have the same say in who gets selected as the rest of the coaches. At the end of the meeting, they all agree. DONE.... Besides, do you really think all those D1 schools care about a patch on a jacket? We're all tired of your victim mentality.

Every coach gets one vote. Rural coaches have teamed up to make sure their kids get selected to the Coaches’ All-State Teams for years. You all want to bitch and use the number of D1 scholarships Trinity’s kids have as an excuse for how unfair the skill level is, then put your poor little undersized overmatched country kids on the 1st team. And you have the nerve to act surprised when those paper certificates you hooked your kids up with aren’t recognized my college recruiters in the form of offers.

Damn. Now I have to get on the coaches' website to see how badly those kids got screwed. (Allegedly.) Well, it might beat covering a school board meeting in 22 minutes.:p

What’s wrong?? Are you BUTTHURT that you didn’t get the awards you think they deserve?? I mean it’s just a piece of paper, a patch on a jacket. You have a more important things to boast about, a state championship, D1 offers!!!

Nope. Not one bit. I know enough about Missouri to know how things work among Class 2 and 3 rural coaches though. Personally, I don’t give two shits what rural coaches think ... and that’s even though MY kid was recognized by them when he played preo football. You’re correct. The scholarship offers he got to play collegiate football were more significant.

Must bother you some or you wouldn’t even bother posting!! Thanks for letting us know though that YOUR son was recognized when he played. I know everyone on the board was just dying to know this tidbit of info. Let me guess....4-5 D1 offers, might be going pro?? Do tell....I’m interested!!!

I’m no fan of BP or Trinity but he does have a point. On the flipside Lamar only got seven all district players while the team ( versailles) they beat by 23 points got 9, and another (Sarcoxie) they beat by 30 got the same amount. Makes no sense. Are you Trinity haters saying Coach Bailey didn’t do his job? Just using your own logic.

I’m not bothered in the slightest. Poking you with a stick online is always worth the effort. You’re welcome. Nope. 20+ D1 offers. I doubt he’ll go Pro. He WILL get his Undergrad and Master’s degrees without student loans though.

Some of them exhibited the discipline that will have them housed in Bonne Terre or Potosi.

They also exhibited the discipline that will have them housed at The Univ. of Illinois, The Univ. of Texas and LSU (#5 just got his offer the other day). Jealousy is a disease, little ducky. Don’t hate because you didn’t get you live out your dreams when you were younger.

IM BOTHERED, I just want a fair set of rules! Look at any year the all state teams are always Championship game players loaded honestly regardless of if its earned! This time it’s obviously earned and they know em.

More than 20 but you doubt he’s going pro? Like I said BS zone, but us rural hicks are often wrong

There are a lot of high school kids with more than 20 scholarship offers. I can understand how crazy it must sound to a fan whose kids don’t have any, but a LOT of kids on FBS teams have 20+ offers. It’s interesting that it sounds entirely plausible to you that Lamar would have kids that’d turn down a free education to play college ball, but you think my aspirations are too low because I doubt my kid would play in the NFL. Either way, it’s all facts.

Never said anything about Lamar never been there but if you think a lot of kids get more than 20 D-1 offers and their parent don’t think about them “going pro” well I guess your kid must have got his brains maternally

I’m speaking facts. I can name a dozen STL kids with 20+ offers. If you think they’re all going Pro, then you’re mistaken. I don’t expect you to believe me. If you’re bored, you can go on Rivals recruiting site and see how many HS kids have 20+ offers. EVERY year the Top 500 prep players each have 30+. Are all of them going Pro?

I am living the dream right now. Your angry, infantile posts make me feel damn good about myself.

I’m not angry, ducky. Trinity won State. A bunch of their kids have scholarships. I’m fine with MSHSAA ‘s rules and would be fine if they split publics and privates, too. YOU’RE the one bitching for weeks after your team’s season ended. YOU’RE the one crying about what’s not fair. YOU’RE the one that thinks I’m bullying you. Rub some ice on that sore ass, little ducky.

Are you referring to academic all state?

Oh wait.... I’m sure they weren’t many of them on those lists either.

Trinity’s kids probably do better academically with their private school instruction than a lot of kids in underfunded small town public school do. I’d ask you why you made that statement, but you’ll just pretend you meant something else and fake being insulted.

I think we're all smart enough to know what the poster was implying. It's kind of sad there are still people out there that think like this to be honest.

I bet he would be surprised to know that Trinity's average ACT score is 23, which would rank just outside the top 15 in the state's public schools ... and significantly higher than every rural public school in "The Ozarks" where the original poster purports to be from.

It's possible, just looking strictly at the data, that the football scholarship offers tend to be directed to the same areas of the state as the high ACT scores.

You do realize that there are students that attend Trinity just for the football and not for the academics correct? I would love to compare the average ACT score of the Trinity football team to any of the “The Ozarks” football teams avg ACT scores.
Luckily for Trinity, those specific statistics aren’t available.

And I would hope that the avg ACT score at a private school would be better than a public. I mean, they’re literally paying for the education right? Or some of them are at least.
