It’s not a cult

Evidence? All I find is a statistical zero in changes.

Not made up but Hey one nutter couple is a trend right!!

Strange that several of you quickly deny the trend reported by several services that provide help. They even said it was hard to deny the upward tick wasn't because of Trumps election.

Not surprised though... it runs in the Democratic party.

Nearly half 46% of White Liberals have mental issues compared to moderates 26% and Conservatives 21%.

LOl I make it up as I go along. Silly little sheep. If you couldn't find the info its because you didn't want too
He makes it up as he goes along... just like a certain recent & CURRENT president.
There, fixed it for you

This explains some things……

According to Wayne State and Auburn Universities there is a link between country music and metropolitan suicide rates.

Country music is hypothesized to nurture a suicidal mood through its concerns with problems common in the suicidal population, such as marital discord, alcohol abuse, and alienation from work.

The results of a multiple regression analysis of 49 metropolitan areas show that the greater the airtime devoted to country music, the greater the white suicide rate.

The effect is independent of divorce, southernness, poverty, and gun availability. The existence of a country music subculture is thought to reinforce the link between country music and suicide.

Sad

I guess that confirms that the Lefty Blue's in the city can't even cope with a Sad song ...... No doubt the Left is so mentally weak and crippled that even a Song makes them suicidal. Rather pitiful

Trend a week of increased calls? Do increased calls lead to actual suicide or do they prevent actual suicides?
A week is statistically a zero.

Or rather "Nearly half 46% of White Liberals, admit to and/or are seeking treatment for mental issues compared to moderates 26% and Conservatives 21%. Perhaps one side is less likely to divulge things like that.

White liberals are intelligent enough to recognize how F’d up the world is. The other side: as my wife says often, no brains no headaches.

The conservatives will never admit they're half crazy. If they didn't already know it they learned from Trump that you NEVER show any sign of a perceived weakness.

Or they have more issues because of their mental make up. Certain personality groups gravitate to peer groups and organizations often based on emotional and anxiety issues.

I understand that the left wants to dismiss the mental issues that are clearly present in their base.... but a near double rate if issues is not under reporting by any statistical demographic. I guess moderates also under report? The rather logical assumption would be that Moderates and Conservatives have less issues as they tend to be with in the margin of error data wise.

Your So wishy washy... you claim over and over again that Conservatives buy into insane conspiracy theories and are easily manipulated to a point of hysteria over nothing, but then you turn around and say that Conservatives are not educated enough to see that the World is F'd up so no brains no headaches.... ignorance is bliss per say?

Those two view points are clearly at odds with each other.

So which is it toots? Or do you just need a different cover story to excuse away facts and truths at your convenience even if they don't mesh up?

Those two views aren’t inconsistent at all.
They believe crazy crap they want to believe and can’t see the damage Trump did by attacking our election system, the CDC, the DOJ, etc. They fall for it. They ain’t smart.

If we are going to do this, let's do it:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/.../is-political-conservatism-mild-form-insanity

I know that looking objectively at and admitting something that goes against your deeply held beliefs is difficult. It is further difficult whenever a study that has been done seems, on the surface, to confirm your beliefs. But is it so hard to believe that when you stigmatize mental health issues (and it is well-documented that conservatives tend to do this), you aren't going to admit having them?

Furthermore, test bias should not be discounted off-hand: i.e. that people on the left are more likely to self-report because they are more open (read: far less stigmatizing) to the possibility of mental illness. Researchers have acknowledged that this could easily account for the seemingly large disparity and that it has never been the subject of a study. You would think it would be pretty pertinent information for these types of studies.
