Washington (CNN) — Former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe is confirming for the first time publicly that there were high-level discussions at the Justice Department about recruiting Cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office in the aftermath of former FBI Director James Comey's firing.

People in the FBI discussing removing the duly elected president??

There is this thing called the 25th amendment and it's there just for that purpose. The FBI couldn't do it, they could only show the people that could why it should be done.

The cabinet members are charged with being able to remove a president if he is"unable to discharge the duties and powers" it is intended to be invoked for medical reasons not political reasons , and it can only be done by individuals confirmed by the Senate.

Having top law enforcement officials of the country discussing attempting to remove a president for political reasons is a very dangerous thing. It is the pure definition of a conspiracy. Having McCabe write about it in his new book is pure stupidity

They were NOT attempting to remove him, they wanted to have proof he was not fit for office, if it was there, for the cabinet members to make that decision.
